TAKEO GA (GREEN AID) series
TAKEO GA (GREEN AID) series is a series of products manufactured with particular respect for the environment, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of paper manufacturing.
The GA series includes paper that contributes to preservation of our natural environment, such as paper with forestry certification*, paper manufactured from non-wood materials, recycled paper, and chlorine-free bleached pulp.
Concern for the environment is growing, and we recommend the GA series when the environment is one of the key criteria for paper selection.
* Forestry certification
Paper with forestry certification is manufactured using wood and recycled materials from forests and/or managing organizations certified by expert third-party organizations under a scheme incorporating evaluation to ensure that forest management is appropriate for protecting the ecosystem and preserving the natural environment, and other raw materials from managed supply sources.
With FM (Forest Management) and CoC (Chain of Custody) certification, TAKEO has received CoC certification from the world’s largest forestry certification schemes, FSC® and PEFC.
FSC®: Forest Stewardship Council
The FSC is an international non-profit organization established in 1993, composed of members from environmental NGOs and indigenous peoples’ groups, forestry industry participants, and retailers.
In December 2002, TAKEO became the leading paper company in Japan to obtain FSC®/CoC certification for wholesale paper distribution.
