“Seeing my daughters making and wearing their own paper jewelry, I wondered why we adults didn’t do the same. I felt that there ought to be paper jewelry that would look attractive on adults. With that in mind, I created paper jewelry with jewelry designer Hiromi Osakada, and then extended the designs further to include contemporary jewelry made with metal. We will be exhibiting and selling paper jewelry as entry-level items and metal jewelry as high-end items at the exhibition venue.”
