Aoyama MIHONCHO’s showcase presents exhibits featuring combinations of fine paper with special printing processes.
This FINE PAPER × SILK SCREEN exhibition illustrates silk screen printing by combining a wide variety of fine papers, silk screen printing techniques, and types of design.
The positive film and screens (mesh mounted on aluminum frames) used in the production process and video footage of production processes are also on display.
Providing a detailed introduction to silkscreen printing, from design creation to screen preparation and printing processes, the exhibition will hopefully give visitors an idea of the limitless possibilities of silkscreen printing according to materials, techniques, and concepts.
