Our AOYAMA PARTNERS STOCK series of exhibitions at Aoyama MIHONCHO presents examples of distinctive companies that are using fine paper and design to communicate their brand images.
In the fifth part of this series, we feature Bo Project., which engages in product planning and development focusing mainly on order-made chopsticks. It develops and sells order-made chopsticks that can be taken home by the people who use them, targeting businesses such as hotels and other establishments offering accommodations and restaurants and similar places providing food and drink.
In addition to offering new value in using chopsticks that are not disposable, in each case the company selects fine paper for the packaging in line with the customer’s brand colors, concept, cooking, interior decorating, and other factors. This exhibition presents a wide variety of examples of this.
Cooperation: Bo Project Co., Ltd.
Declaring a mission statement of “creating a new standard for the future by using chopsticks to change conventional wisdom ,” Bo Project. develops and provides products and services that create new value. Order-made chopsticks, the company’s key product, are used at important locations and events, such as Michelin-starred restaurants throughout the world, luxury hotels, the 2019 G20 Osaka Summit Leaders’ Dinner, and the banquet at the enthronement ceremony of the emperor held in the State Room of the Imperial Palace. The company set up a company factory that is run using renewable energy in 2022, and is constantly developing unique order-made chopsticks, using materials sourced from within Japan.
