TAKEO Co., Ltd. was involved in the design of two products winning the Japan Institute of Design Promotion’s Good Design Award for 2021.

- Paper lid “stacking paper lid”

The “stacking paper lid” is a stackable lid for cups made from paper, created by product designer Fumie Shibata.

The lid fits into the top of a paper cup. This product is based on a project by Shibata for the 2006 Takeo Paper Show.

- Whiteboard sheet “PAPIER BOARD”

PAPIER BOARD is a whiteboard sheet made from paper. These sheets, which can be used in various situations, were created through a collaboration that combines TAKEO fine paper, the patented cellophane laminate technology of FUKAYAMA Co., Ltd. and Try-Fu Co., Ltd., and the ideas and design of THINK OF THINGS.
