PAPER & TRIAL is a series of exhibitions on paper, design, and experimentation. The third exhibition features KIHOUSHI. This series of packaging papers, inspired by the concept of packaging feelings, is designed to appeal to the touch, fully bringing out the rich feel of paper. KIHOUSHI papers are FSC-certified. They combine a high softwood content that provides strength with special surface coatings that enhance folding performance. The show also presents product samples and printing process samples using the KIHOUSHI series. Graphic designer Aya Codama has conducted trials exploring new possibilities for this fine paper by combining the KIHOUSHI series and embossing.
