On June 16, 2015, TAKEO MIHONCHO Ginza at Itoya was launched jointly by stationery brand ITO-YA Ltd. and specialist paper merchant TAKEO Co., Ltd. as a specialty paper store where a wide range of people, from paper professionals to the general public, can enjoy the world of paper. We believe that the synergies achieved through the efforts of two corporations that are both specialists in the industry succeeded in communicating the wonderful aspects of fine paper to customers.
After operating for more than five years, the companies have decided to close TAKEO MIHONCHO Ginza at Itoya on March 31, 2021, in conjunction with a major floor redesign at Ginza Itoya’s main store. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has visited the store over the years.
The 7th floor of Ginza Itoya will continue to sell paper under the management of ITO-YA Ltd., which looks forward to continuing to serve your paper needs.
