Feature in July 2020 issue of "BRAIN"
"Book Jacket: Senses" is a series made possible
through collaborations with creators using fine paper.
Each issue in this popular project includes a book jacket/cover
made with a different type of fine paper.
Seri Tanaka appears in the July 2020 issue.
The paper he uses is NT SFU:L.
The title of the work is “Bodies”
Inspired by the softness of NT SFU:L, which feels as soft as a baby’s skin,
these book jackets are designed with motifs from the human body.
The lustrous colored foil and the almost-moist feel of the supple paper bring
extra joy when held. At a time when the value of touch has undergone a major
change, these book jackets awaken a renewed sense of tactile joy.”
The July issue of Brain is now available at bookstores nationwide.
