Masashi Murakami
Graphic designer and art director. Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1982.
Established emuni (m2) jointly with Takashi Murakami in 2012. Handles graphic
design, and related work, including branding design and advertising. Main projects
include branding and packaging for Kirin Lemon by Kirin Beverage and package
design for the international release of “Juyondai” sake by Takagi Brewery.
Also puts much energy into other projects, including the creation of works for
character-focused artwork and exhibitions. His numerous awards from around the
world include the TDC Prize from Tokyo TDC and The One Show award. Also serves
as part-time lecturer at Tokyo University of the Arts.
