Feature in August 2018 issue of "BRAIN"
"Book Jacket: Senses" is a bi-monthly series made possible
through collaborations with creators using fine paper.
Each issue in this popular project includes a book jacket/cover
made with a different type of fine paper.
Takuma Fukuzawa appears in the August 2018 issue.
The paper he uses is TAMASHIKI.
The title of the work is “DRIPPING SPACE.”
Likening the watermarks of TAMASHIKI to the circular hoshi mon symbol that represents stars in Japanese kamon crests,
Fukuzawa has used a dripping technique to draw stars, employing white foil,
hologram foil, and opaque white dot pattern layers to create a three-dimensional representation of space.
