Paper Balance/Human Unbalance.

Inspired by the contrasting concepts of balance and unbalance for the physical properties of the paper and the mental aspects of people who use paper, we attempted to restore our awareness of and make new discoveries about paper itself.

BALANCE: Paper products and paper business successes
Successful examples were exhibited in five categories according to the dominant characteristic of the paper:
"Paripari (crispy), Funwari (fluffy), Sukesuke (transparent), Tsurutsuru (smooth), or Zarazara (rough)"

UNBALANCE: Creators’ ideas applying these elementary characteristics
Creators currently active in a range of genres exhibited their ideas for products that deliberately created an unbalanced situation from the perspective of these five elementary themes.
